Scarlett Johansson was born on the 22nd of November, 1984 at New York City New York. She is an American actress/singer whose versatility has earned her recognition in a variety of genres - from thrillers and adventures to period films. Johansson lived within New York City as the daughter an architect and an executive from a production firm. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. She developed an interest in acting at a young age and was auditioning for commercials before the age of seven. Following a short period beginning her study with the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Later on it was the time that the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. In the Off-Broadway play Sophistry she co-starred with Ethan Hawke. She then appeared in her first film with North (1994) which was written by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson was next seen in Just Cause (1996), but the film Manny & Lo 1996 that made her famous. The film is about two girls orphaned by their parents who run away. For The Horse Whisperer, Johansson as a teen victim of an incredibly tragic accident. The role she played in Ghost World brought her more recognition as the troubled teenager Rebecca. The award-winning actress has been one of the main cast members of the show. She's an excellent stage actor. Her performances have been spectacular in stage productions such as Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a child when she began her career in entertainment. As a child, she became fascinated with acting. Smith's parents helped her with getting her first role in the acting world in the age of six. It was an Dannon yogurt commercial. Like many actresses who are just getting started, to improve her abilities in the theatre. She would work in different USA productions, while also making her debut on stage in the company of Wildflower. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
