Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia granted her a degree as a cum laude theatre and Communication. Her career began in Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in over 20 plays and musicals. They included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven title roles at LA's Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing films and TV roles when she studied improvisation and became an Theatre West company member. Her distinctive voice and small height has let her perform a range of colorful characters. Her collaboration with Naomi Watts as Samara the character In The Ring 2 is well known, however she's also better recognized for playing the lively receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly worked as an TV Land Series Regular from 2011-2015, playing paralegal during the daytime, and as a party girl at night. In addition, Kelly played Alyssa's smart sexpert sister in ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the The CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the mother of a stressed suburban family. She has lent her singing voice to numerous animated films like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. The most recent appearance was as the dim and adorable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. She has a peaceful private life with her husband and two young children and enjoys sewing writing and helping out at school events.
